ruptures first full length and probably most well known release, coming out in 92 as a 10" on yeah mate records. this was recorded when rupture were in their prime, song-writing wise, and the recording is a decent quality so it gets across (unlike some other records, which suffer from bodgy mixes)

the manikins-self titled
this is a compilation of the output of the manikins, for the most part a bunch of 7" singles. a band that formed after the demise of the cheap nasties in 1977 after kim salmon left the band to form the scientists. the rest of the band continued as the manikins making some great power pop tunes until they broke up in 1981.
one of the members (mark betts) used the name (sans "the") to form a synth pop band with a female vocalist. they released one album and a few singles.

cremator-evil brew tape
thrash metal from around 87. this tape preceded the 12" and i'd say this is a little better. more straight forward recording and guitar tones.

no wonder-midget au-go-go
screeching weasel/green day style pop punk from 2000. this band was around for aaages, from the mid nineties through til 2003 or so, but was cursed with recordings that never got across how good this band was. excellent melodies and song writing lost in sub-par recordings. the band slowly headed in a more rock direction, broke up and reformed as the kuillotines.

suffer-demo tape
something a little more recent. this is suffers demo tape from 2008, it has all the songs from an earlier version of the demo (only released on cd) plus an additional newer song and a cover of SSDs boiling point.
fast hardcore like dropdead, crossed out and infest in a blender. members had previously played in a bus crash decapitation.

jed whitey-mongoloid cage match
from 2002 i believe. killer aggressive detroit style rock, with a minimum of wank and a real punk tinge to it. a few straight up poison idea/negative approach style hardcore punk songs in there too.
tracks from this record also ended up on numerous splits and the "this machine kills hippies" 7" ep

sufferance-chemical deception
early nineties death metal, probably 92/93. i've no idea what format this was release on as i copied it from a tape copied from the master, given to me by the drummer on this release, dean (who also went on to play in nailed down, rupture, heist etc). i'd assume from the time it was released that it would have been cassette.

pestilence-demo
i was going to upload the whole pestilence demo tape, but its now being rereleased on vinyl by coffin cut records, so i'm just going to upload the first 3 songs with a scan of the original tape cover.

the demo was recorded in 88, early grindcore back when grindcore was a new thing. whilst being quite blasty, it has a real punk sound to it and a lot of almost UK82 style riffs in there. apparently members were big fans of disorder and the like. members included kim benjamin, who went on to form resolute, refuse and nailed down. and ian belford who went on to sing for storm of perversion.

all in deep shit- HIV positive youth demo
lo-fi blastbeat ridden fastcore, for the most part recorded mid 2001 and released later that year, the tracks on this were put together from rehearsal tapes. it documents the time when kim (who sang in negative reply and later defeat & currently drowning horse) played guitar in the band. he was later replaced by rhys, who played on all subsequent releases (and later played in jaws, extortion, the collapse etc etc).
